Words from Terence
Dear Friends,

When I was a little boy, I was awed by my father when he passionately spoke in public about his community issues-he was a community activist. My father told me that helping people and improving the quality of life for one’s community is a noble thing to do. Upon graduating from Francis Lewis High School, I had so many things that I wanted to do, but one thing stood out in my mind-becoming a public servant. Since then, I promised myself that I would become a public servant and work for my community. Now I am prepared with years of experience in government and community activism to help our community move forward. I believe that we need more affordable housing, better health services and facilities, clean and safe streets, quality public education for our children, improved traffic conditions, enhanced services and programs for our senior citizens, smart and balanced zoning, and assistance to local businesses. A poet once wrote, "The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep." As your servant, I will continue to work to strengthen and empower our community by meeting these needs.  There are miles of work to do-let's work together! Thank you and God bless America!

Sincerely,

Terence
